Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data that we carry out when you visit our website.

Our Privacy Policy has been designed in accordance with the legal regulations in force in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Unless otherwise indicated, Educa Edtech Group will have the status of Data Controller of your personal data, in terms of the provisions of the regulatory regulations.

To guarantee the proper functioning and efficient management of our business, it is possible that the entities that make up Educa Edtech Group jointly determine the purposes and means regarding the processing of personal data and, therefore, they would hold the status of Joint Data Controllers, in terms of the provisions of Article 26 of the GDPR.

2. Purposes of the processing and legal bases

This section sets out the different purposes and legal bases for the processing of personal data carried out by Educa Edtech Group:

  • Consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR):
    • Provide you with information related to training actions and teaching services of interest to you.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR):
    • Communicate information to public authorities, regulators or governmental bodies in those cases in which it is necessary to do so by law, local regulations or in compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR):
    • Direct requests for information to the Educa Edtech Group company that is best placed to meet the user’s academic needs.
    • In the same vein and based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; Commercial communications may be sent to users, according to their interests and preferences.
    • Segmentation tasks. Segmentation or profiling may be carried out to adapt the contents of the training actions to the needs of the users. Under no circumstances will segmentation or profiling have any legal or significant effects on the data subject.
    • To improve the website and its operation, statistics are compiled, we collect information on the user’s browsing on the date and time of access.

3. To which recipients will we disclose your data?

Educa Edtech Group is made up of business schools dedicated to the provision of training services in different academic areas. When the request received from users does not fit with the training services provided by the recipient of the request, it will be redirected to the entity of the group that can offer the training action that can meet the academic and/or professional needs of the users.

Your personal data may be provided to collaborating companies and investees of the Data Controller  when it is necessary to comply with the purposes described above so that they can provide information by various means on products and services related to training, employment, publishing products and new technologies, respecting in all cases the security measures required by current legislation on the matter protection of personal data, as well as the Company’s general quality and privacy policies.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, personal information provided to us will not be disclosed to third parties, except when such disclosure is required by applicable law; by the courts or by a competent authority, as well as when it is necessary to communicate the essential data for the logical reason of the provision of the service, or when it is expressly requested by giving the User’s consent.

4. Are There International Data Transfers?

Educa Edtech Group will not make international transfers of your data.

5. How long will we keep your data?

Your personal data will be kept for the period necessary for the effective fulfilment of the purpose for which they were collected and for the time established by current legal regulations, unless consent is revoked or the right to restriction of processing is exercised. In such cases, your data will be blocked for the legally established periods.

Regarding the recording of telephone calls, they will be kept for a period of THREE (3) months from the date of their recording. Once this period has elapsed, the telephone recordings will be anonymized, the audio will be deleted but the transcripts of the conversations will be kept without any data or other information that could identify the users.

6. What security measures will we apply?

Educa Edtech Group will treat your personal data under the strictest confidentiality, applying the security, technical and organizational measures set out in the applicable legislation.

7. What are the rights you can exercise?

The User has the following rights regarding the processing of his/her personal data:

  • Right to request access to your personal data.
  • The right to request their rectification if they are inaccurate, or to request their deletion (for example, if you consider that they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected).
  • The right to request the restriction of its processing, if any of the conditions set out in the regulations are met, in which case we will only keep them for the exercise or defence of claims.
  • The right to object to processing, in which case we will stop processing your data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defence of possible claims.
  • Right to data portability.
  • The right to revoke consent for each specific purpose, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (competent supervisory authority in the field of Data Protection), especially when you have not obtained satisfaction in the exercise of your rights: Claim
  • Likewise, and in accordance with the provisions of Law 34/2002 of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, if you do not wish to receive electronic commercial communications in the future, you may express such wish by sending an email to the following email address lopd@innovanet.org

8. How can you exercise your rights?

These forms must be electronically signed or accompanied by a photocopy of a valid ID card or passport.

These forms can be submitted in person at Camino de la Torrecilla Nº 30, Edificio Educa Edtech, C.P. 18200, Maracena (Granada) or through the email address: lopd@innovanet.org

9. What is the established time frame for resolving the exercise of rights?

We will inform you of the actions arising from your request within ONE (1) month, which may be extended to TWO (2) more months in the case of particularly complex requests, and we will notify you of such extension within the first month.

In those cases where we do not attend to your request, we will inform you of this, giving reasons for your refusal within a period of ONE (1) month from its submission.

10. How have we obtained your personal data?

We obtain your personal data by filling in the various forms that appear on the website (“!Contact us!”, “We’ll call you!“, “Request Information“), when requesting information, by checking the box “I accept the Privacy Policy” and clicking to send the data, or by sending emails or WhatsApp to Educa Edtech Group through the accounts enabled for this purpose. In addition to the above, the User declares to have read and expressly accepted this privacy policy and grants their unequivocal and express consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the purposes informed.

In accordance with the purposes indicated in section 2, the categories of data that will be processed are the following:

  • Identification data: name and surname, telephone number and e-mail address.
10.1 What happens if I don’t provide them?

Mandatory data will be distinguished in the information collection forms. If you choose not to provide us with any of this mandatory data, we will not be able to fulfil the intended purpose and the data will not be processed. In the event of the creation of a “commercial profile” based on the information provided, no automated decisions will be taken with legal effects for the User.

You warrant that the Personal Data you provide to us is true and correct, and you are responsible for notifying us of any changes to the Personal Data. If the data provided belongs to a third party, the User guarantees that he/she has informed said third party of the aspects contained in this document and obtained his/her authorization to provide his/her data.

11. Social Media

The social media profiles held by Educa Edtech Group will not involve data processing beyond that which the social network itself allows for corporate profiles. Educa Edtech Group may use these profiles to inform the users of each social network subscribed to the Educa Edtech Group profile about its activities, events, seminars, offers, promotions or news in its products or services, as well as to share information of interest on the usual topics of Educa Edtech Group.

Educa Edtech Group will not extract any data directly from the social network.
